I loved the locations that Jessica and Cole chose for their engagement session, each with it’s own significance. We started out at Schiller Park in German Village, just a few streets over from where Jessica lives, and a place she and Cole have many times walked to during the warmer months to spend an afternoon together. It wasn’t so warm this day, but they held each other close for warmth and grinned as if nothing could dampen their spirits. After Schiller Park, we headed north to the OSU campus, stopping first at a little pizza place called A Slice of New York where these two had their first meal together. Cole admits that he didn’t pay for her meal that day, but he still considers it their first date regardless. The manager there was awesome and gave them pizza and a root beer float on the house, and then surprised us again as we were leaving by giving Amanda and I pizza as well…he wouldn’t take no for an answer, haha. Next, we crossed High Street and walked across the oval to Thompson Library and found a nice spot to get lost in the stacks. Cole is a teacher and a lover of history, so the library seemed a fitting spot to close out their session. Jessica and Cole were so much fun, and I’m sure their June wedding will be even more fun! Until then, enjoy these and have a wonderful Saturday!
