We are excited to get back to blogging after traveling for two weeks in a row. We went to Minneapolis, MN for Jordan & Amy’s wedding, and then had a wedding editorial shoot in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, So we have a lot to catch you up on, my friends! (:
So, here’s a little sweetness to help kick off your Wednesday!
I feel like a broken record when I talk about how much it’s rained in Ohio this summer, but alas, not only did it rain, it poured almost all day for this wedding. Luckily, it cleared off at the end of the evening, so we were able to sneak outside for some portraits! Hooray!
Laurie & Nick are darling together. There is a sweetness about this couple that we just adore, and we love how they incorporated that endearing nature into their details. As Nick & Laurie were announced and walked back down the aisle, “Come Walk with Me, There’s a Long Road Ahead” was sung in Swahili, which was a song they had learned while in college and is dear to their heart. They also have a fondness for reading, if you remember from their engagement session, so they gave some of their favorite books as favors, with selections for both children and adults. How cute is that! After dinner, Nick and Laurie danced the night away, starting it off with a classy waltz for their first dance. We love when our couples have a beautiful and fun choreographed first dance together. (:
Congrats Nick & Laurie! Here’s to many more sweet years ahead!
