Now it’s your turn… | Foodie Friday

May 31, 2013

We’re taking a break from Foodie Friday this month in order to hear from you guys. We want to get your input on what we should cook next month! We will be posting the June edition of Foodie Friday from Boston, MA, where we’re hoping to use some of the fresh, local fare in whatever we end up cooking. So here’s what we want…we want to hear your favorite New England classics, dishes you’ve always wanted to try but never gotten up the nerve to, or just random dishes that you think would be fun to see us cook! We will pick one winning recipe/dish and just for the heck of it, and because blog posts are always better with a giveaway, the submitter of the winning idea will get a $15 gift card to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams! (Which if you’ve never had their delicious Goat Cheese with Red Cherries ice cream, you my friend are missing out!)

Have a fantastic Friday everyone! Can’t wait to see what ideas you toss our way 🙂

And because blog posts are also better with pictures, here’s a little overview of all of the Foodie Fridays so far!

::UPDATE:: Congratulations to Laura on winning the $15 Jeni’s gift card  for her suggestion of Cod Fish Balls! Check back in a little over a week to see us cooking up some New England goodness!

Cod Fish Balls. It sounds a little much if you look at the recipes, but I think most normal people would like them.

How about this Farmer’s Market Skillet meal? http://iowagirleats.com/2012/05/14/farmers-market-recipe-collection-farmers-market-skillet/

I love recipes like this that allow you to use a combination of all sorts of in-season veggies. Yum!
